Resource List:
Throughout our live group sessions, we will be leaning on and using various resources to help support your body, mind and heart as for the somatic support portion of our course.
None of the suggestions below are required and can be adjusted and improvised based on accessibility and/or what you already have available.
Each week you will be invited to bring whichever resources you have or want to group. You need not purchase new items. Again, please feel free to borrow, adjust or improvise as needed. We may or may not use them every group, but being prepared will help us contain and utilize our time well.
OPTIONAL resource items to bring:
Large, firm pillows or several small ones (can be from a couch or a bed, just need to have a supportive quality to them)
A yoga bolster or long body pillow
A yoga block
Throw blankets or shawls
Yoga mat, meditation cushion or other designated space holder
Weighted blanket
Eye pillow
Heating pad, warm rice bag or hot water bottle
Water or sparkling water
Journal and pen for writing
Any other comfort items that feel familiar and unique to you
